Strawberry Bruschetta

Ingredients
1 loaf of bread
8 oz. goat cheese
1 quart strawberries sliced and diced (reserve tops)
Juice of ½ lemon
5-10 basil leaves; thinly julienne, reserving some for garnish
2-4 cloves garlic finely chopped
2 TBSP balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt
Honey and maldon salt
Directions
Mix together prepared sliced strawberries, minced garlic cloves, lemon juice, basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and salt to taste. Set aside while the bread toasts.
Cut slices of bread in half at an angle and spread evenly on a sheet tray/drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste. Toast at 375 degrees for 5-8 minutes until desired toastiness.
Compose crostini by spreading goat cheese evenly over toasted bread and top with prepared strawberry mixture.
